What this site is for
The Builder’s Toolkit helps tradespeople, self-builders and DIYers turn site measurements into practical material estimates. The focus is quantity planning: areas, volumes, linear metres, packs, bags and stock lengths.
What it is not
It is not a structural design service, survey, specification or Building Regulations approval service. A calculator can process the dimensions and assumptions entered; it cannot inspect the job or know every project requirement.
Our approach
We prefer visible assumptions. Where a product’s coverage, bulk density, waste allowance or spacing can vary, the calculator exposes that input instead of pretending one fixed number is correct for every job.
