Errors worth catching early

  • Walls, ceilings and different lining systems can use different boards, coats or accessories.
  • Large openings reduce net area, but small deducted areas do not always reduce purchased sheets because offcuts may be unusable.
  • Boards, screws, beads, tape, adhesive and finish materials follow different drivers.

Three checks before ordering

Run the calculation twice: once from the raw measurements and once from a second independent measurement or drawing dimension. If the two results differ materially, resolve the measurement before adjusting the waste allowance.
